Royal Stokes, Ph. D. "Pete BarenBregge possesses technical and improvising gifts on all saxophones. His solos hold plenty of ideas and logic, building with a clear and concise vision as he tells his stories. Drummer Frank Russo takes care of his time-keeping duties with taste and swing" - DownBeat, August 2002 "Their set of cleverly arranged standards and attractive originals showcases confident, polished playing that would rate highly anywhere.
