Fran Vielma Jazz Orchestra, this June 16th at Mr. Henry’s DC, featuring contemporary Pan- American Jazz!

This event is part of a bimonthly residency that Fran holds to honor Pan-American music alongside world-class players from the Mid Atlantic & East Coast regions.

Hailing from the Venezuelan Andes, Fran Vielma is a critically acclaimed and multi award winning percussionist, composer, and educator. His continuous research on the rhythms of America and beyond converge in his works with the fascination for concert music and the freedom of jazz. Vielma was recently awarded the Chamber Music America – New Jazz Works and has been a DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Fellow since 2019.

Tickets are $30 (general admission) and $25 (student)
