Levine’s Jazz Weekend Workshop and Exciting Spring Programs
Join us for Jazz Weekend Workshop
This three-day workshop is designed to give amateur and aspiring jazz musicians an opportunity to come and expand their jazz experience under the direction of Levine’s expert jazz faculty. The workshop includes small and large group jam sessions, level-specific jazz instructional sessions, as well as an end-of-weekend concert.
Whether you are already an experienced improviser or have always wanted to get into jazz but weren’t sure how to get started, this workshop provides the ideal opportunity for adult students to develop jazz, ensemble, and improvisational skills in a coached, friendly environment.
The weekend is open to adult jazz musicians of all levels and to all instruments, including vocalists. Pianos, amplifiers, and a drum kit are provided.
Friday, January 23 – 7:00 – 9:00 PM Saturday, January 24 – 10:00AM – 4:00 PM Sunday, January 25 – 12:00 PM – 4:00 PMVA Campus: Westover
“I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn from such knowledgeable musicians. This workshop helped me refine how I approach practicing, gave me useful exercises to work on and it was a blast playing with other musicians. It was a great experience!” – past participant
